We are thrilled to announce that Journey’s End has been awarded Best Drama Play by the Theatre Association of South Australia (TASA) at their annual awards night. This is a testament to the dedication, talent, and passion of everyone involved. This powerful production, performed at Adelaide Univeristy’s Little Theatre in July 2024 captivated audiences each night with its raw emotion, gripping storytelling, and unforgettable performances.
“In the role of Captain Stanhope, Benji Riggs delivers a well-crafted performance of a brave young man striving to keep his men alive and retain his humanity in a hopeless position.”
Bringing R.C. Sherriff’s wartime classic to life was both a challenge and an honour. From the meticulously designed set, designed and built by David Roach, to the deeply moving portrayals by our cast, every element came together to create a production that truly resonated with audiences. We are incredibly proud of our team—actors and our crew—who worked tirelessly to make this show a success.
Congratulations to everyone involved, both on and off stage, (especially Benji Riggs and Callum Logan for their individual award nominations), for their contributions to this most memorable play in the company's history.
“This play may occasionally make you laugh or even cry, but it will make you feel.”
A heartfelt thank you to our audiences and supporters. Your enthusiasm and love for theatre make achievements like this possible.
Our 2025 season is launching very soon and we're so excited to bring you another year of unforgettable stories, powerful performances, and the magic of live theatre. Our thanks to TASA and congratulations to all the other award winners.
